Since the beginning of the 60’s Milan Grygar has belonged to prominent artists. Between 1960 and 1989 he created 175 unmistakeable graphic designs for film posters. Together with Karel Vaca, Zdenek Ziegler and Karel Teissig he was „a star“ of the Czech film poster. Even in his age of 83, Milan Grygar is still active in his art work. His posters for films: Blow Up-, The Persecution and Assassination- .., Juliet of the Spirits, The Knack belong to the absolute top in the Czechoslovakian history of film posters.
