Cinema Hvězda, Uherské Hradiště (1. 5. 2008 - 30. 5. 2008) —
The exhibition of the Czechoslovakian film posters for American Slapsticks took place in the scope of 10th Archive Films Seminary in Uherské Hradiště. Since 60´s has been American Slapstick often distributed in Czech cinemas because of their political neutrality and posters for these films were largely sought-after.
Speacialists for these film grotesques posters were „Stanislav Duda (Laurel and Hardy´s Laughing 20´s, Grotesques) and „Vratislav Hlavatý (Harold Lloyd, Laurel and Hardy). A collection of ten posters for Charlie Chaplin´s films (The Limelight, The Circus, The City Lights) designed by Milan Grygar is on a very high level as well. We can see an incommutable hand-writing of Jan Kubíček on his poster for the film 30 Years of Fun.
